Physical Body Issues
Reality
• My body feels off, unsettled, and not in rhythm right now.
• I thought I was improving… now it feels like I’m going backward.
• I feel urgency and pressure to fix my body immediately.
• My body feels weak, unreliable, & like it’s not holding up.
Anchored Truth
• “My body is not my enemy. It’s designed to move toward life and regulation over time. I don’t have to force it. I can support it and stay steady.”
• “Healing and regulation aren’t perfectly linear. Setbacks don’t erase progress.
• “My body is still moving toward stability over time.”
• “My stability is not defined by my body’s consistency, but by my abiding in Christ, who is unchanging.”
• “Even when my body fluctuates, my life is being steadily anchored & more deeply rooted in Christ.”
• “True stability in me is not the absence of symptoms, but the presence of Christ anchoring me within them.”
• “I don’t have to rush into control. Slowing down helps my body more than forcing outcomes.”
• “Even if my body feels like it’s failing, that is not the foundation I stand on.
• "My strength and stability are not ultimately coming from my physical condition.”
